If You Fall…Get Your Butt Back Up!

Okay, so that was a pretty lame post title. I’ll blame it on being a newbie! So, what do you do when you fall flat on your face? Do you just lie there? Of course not! You get back up and keep going. You have to. It’s the only way to succeed.

I just recently went back to working full time outside of the home after being a stay at home for 1.5 years. It was really tough! But, we needed the money or else we would have been out on the streets. Sometimes you gotta do what cha gotta do even if it means doing something you don’t really want to do.

While I was at home, however, I did a lot of research into how I could work at home. I experimented with several different options but I didn’t really make it happen for a variety of reasons.

The point? I felt like such a failure because I had to do the thing I was trying to avoid - going back to work outside of the home.

But, you know what? It’s not over! If anything I am even more driven to make - or should I say - create my own thing and work from home. Oh yeah, I reminded every morning when I walk into my cubicle at 8 a.m.

So the moral of the story is - if you’ve experienced failure don’t have a pity party. Get your butt back up and go after your dreams!
